flush

Hi, done a bit of research and had a few conversations with mechanic mates etc but cant decide whether or not I should use an engine flush when servicing my LCR, the reason for not using a flush was because it may strip the engine of various essentials that need to be in there opinions please!!!

My service is coming up soon so a oil change on the cards just wondering is it worth using a engine flush before hand?if so what make is the best?
