Does anyone know what insurance group this engine will be placed in? I've looked on the Seat website but that part is blank. I have used confused.com etc but no-one has the Stylance 1.4 TSI listed yet.

as my car is coming off company insurance got myself a quote 960 quid with a 850 quid excess with swiftcover.com bearing in mind i have three points and they wont accept my 3yrs no claims bonus because im 22 and it was on a company policy!! i dont think its too bad tbh.....what do u think...

Can anyone tell me if this is excessive for insurance quote: Extra 0-10% BHP = £20 - £25 Extra 11-25% BHP = £220 (What!:blink:) Extra 26+% = Didn't bother asking lol Is that £220 excessive or normal?

Well, being the decent chap that I am :whistle: I thought I'd do the right thing and inform my insurance company (Barclays) of the new bits on the car. To start off with, they said they would only insure up to 3 mods in total. Wheel spacers = 1 mod. (Up to a maximum of 25mm each side)...
