How can I check my intercooler to see if it's been pierced? Just a case of stick it on a car and listen for leaks? Only ask as the SS FMIC that was on my car someone might want.. It's a bit twisted but it doesn't appear to have pierced it. Anyone got any ideas?

Im looking at buying a 2005 Ibiza Cupra and the one im looking at looks like it has a front mount intercooler. I was wondering if they came as standard or they normally have the side mount????? Thanks, Marcus.
