screenwash

anyone ever noticed that vag cars hate screenwash that isnt seat....my washers will not push out anything other than which is a problem as i have run out of vag stuff.....it will rarey work with other stuff like asda, homebase, halfords..... my bro said u are only meant to use vag stuff on...

Hi, tried my rear washer earlier.. no fluid's getting to the wiper.. it's dripping out under the chassis somewhere under the passenger footwell, obviously the hose has come off a connection somewhere.. but i've no idea if it's easy to re-connect.. cheers

Noticed when i was in the garage that holts screen wash says it contains methanol,do you think i could use this with my water injection as intake temps are so low at the moment (20 degrees max) or does it contain loads of dodgy additives?

Im sure i read somewhere that you should use special VAG screenwash to stop the fan style jets blocking up.. is this right anyone heard this? The manual for the car doesnt mention anything so im thinking of getting the normal stuff......
