sounds good to me, i paid £11k for my petrol version, 55 plate, 10k on clock so the trade in for the previous owner cant have been that high.

Sounds like a great price for it.

Wonder what they would sell it for on the forecourt?

your always going to get a better trade in price for a car of the same make as they dont have to sell it on to a 3rd party

That's an outstandingly good figure IMO.

For reference, 6 weeks ago I paid £9800 in a private sale for a 55-plate Cupra TDI with 24k miles. To be offered over £1k more for an older car as a trade-in value is amazing! Either that or I got an excellent deal buying mine :)

After all the positive comments on here I will have to work on the wife now and believe me thats going to be harder than getting a deal from ANY dealer!
