Car will be one year old mid September and the car has flashed up in 700miles oil service is due or 77 days, current mileage is 8646. I know 700 miles is an estimate but that would only bring my mileage to 9500 not 10,000 which I thought the service interval was, 10000 miles or 1 year whichever is first. How many miles can you exceed when the car says the service is due? Cheers.

Why do you want to go over?

You are currently only doing about 850 miles a month, so it will be August before the condition-based service indicator reaches zero. That's plenty of time to get a service booked.

I don’t want to go over it. I have a long drive planned for start of September and I don’t particularly want to get a service until September as if I get it done earlier then it just means next year service will earlier. I just want to know if Seat impose a maximum mileage that if you exceed you void warranty or anything like that. I know other car manufacturers impose a 1000mile limit after the indicator hits zero

If you're concerned, get this one done early and see about switching to the long life service plan which is 20k or 2 years, or in my case, 1 year still due to the mileage I do.

I'm sure it is 1000miles or one month.
