hey folks,
I know this have been raised zillion times up till now, but anyway i wanna hear again from the 1.6 owners.
If am going to fit 17"'s (225/45) instead of my 15" (195/65), will i kill my ride?????

Many people are warning me that it would be very poor 0-60 after the new wheels and stuff?? in addition that it would be a must to fit a new sports suspension..
so what do u think??? or should i go for 16" on 205/55????

Experiences plzzzzzzzz:cheers:

its not necessary to get 17" or 16" rims for a sport suspension, just think about the winter when everyone drives 195/55 R15 on a 1.6 in the snow.

the accerlation with 225s is really bad ... I already drove one ... but therefor it looks really good and you can brake better and have a better stability. but you can drive 205s on 17" rims ... maybe a nice possibility ...

205s on 16" rims is no real difference to 195 ... a little bit better stability ...
