Evening all,

Took the Leon out for a spin to pick up a pizza! .. I drive my Pug Partner 69hp demon through the week as I'm a Bricky so I relish the times I get to drive it .

Anyhow, it was making an odd noise in sync with the turbo coming on and off which after some researching points to a dead turbo .

My question to you guys is with the pics I've uploaded does it make anyone come to a conclusion as to why it's blown? There is quite a good amount of oil mist around the tip, that metal puck etc. Checked oil level, fine and she's not blowing smoke that I can see. I didn't drive it hard and got home and left her be haven't been driving since it's happened.

Sorry to hear of the issues, it's probably just old age mate tbh. Cars are getting on now, turbos have a hard life.

Yeah I did think having 130k on it it's not done badly. Debated changing but I can't do it I love the car, it's not the end of the world. Any thoughts on the gummy oil surrounding the area mate?
