2.0 TSI engine problem

That sounds pretty scary, I have an 09 fl Cupra, sounds a bit like a diesel at start up and sometimes at idle, but think that's common anyway. There's only been two occasions when the engine sounded really lumpy and that was when I parked up, stopped the engine, realised I had to move and started it up again for like 10 seconds. I just put it down to that tiny amount of time the engine was on for.

Edit: reason why I'm a little concerned is that although mine is three years old, it's only jut just over 12k miles so mechanically speaking, it's a baby.

As LeonCR says different engine

The LCR is called a TSI by SEAT but its actually a TFSI
