hi does any1 have any info/build threads to put a 1.8t 20v into my 16v what will i need etc?
scroll down half way and theres a list of threads. what u gonna do with the 16v engine after?

bare engines about 750 on ebay ,k03 turbos are 250 new or 100 second hand. if you got the money go for k04 from an audi and get 300hp+
Why don't you make a 16vT instead? Certainly a bit rarer than a 1.8T
buy a written off (non front end damage) Mk3 ibiza cupra and you'll have everything you'll need for the conversion to get a running car
One on here being broken up.
they wont last long even at low boost. i was considering 2.0 8v turbo but i doubt the internals could withstand an extra 1 bar of pressure.
were like vultures on here wen it comes to 1.8t engines. as soon as one pops up we all want it
obviously you'd get forged pistons vince.
1.8 20vt is so much easier to maintain/do tbh!
at 600 quid a set???????? could buy AGU block for that.
either that or put bodies on it?? any1 ever done a bike carb conversion? what engines did the cordoba wrc have?????

he's got a mk1 golf, but put an ABF from his ibiza in, and now bike carbing it!
or dinky dave is going throttle bodies atm
you would get more power from a different golf head. read that somewhere.

1.8t with k04 turbo.
how much are the k04 turbo's going for?
they cost 450 new. ko3 at 22 psi gives out 250hp with uprated intercooler and remap.
