So I am thinking is this the reason why my MPG is lower than expected at around 48mpg or am I just talking bull**** lol

I have got a full set of new glowplugs from Dave and as I am changing these 2, I might aswell change them as a set.

Would this sort out my problem regards to the above VCDS codes? Car is running ok btw, nothing bad that has come to my attention since having it.

Hi Masterkm, did replacing the glow plugs solve your problem as well as the MPG??

It solved the problem straight away with new glow plugs but did not keep an eye on MPG tbh

Sorry for daft question, what made you scan with vag com, are the glow plugs hard to fit, think I have same as you (1.9tdi)

Nothing really mate, I just had a VAGCOM kit delivered so thought might aswell test it out. Codes showed up so decided new plugs should fix it lol.. All plugs were changed in around 10mins by my dad just need a rachet kit.

Should be easy enough, and doubel check with a VAGCOM scan after to see if the codes have cleared. If not, you will need a bridge loom too
