hi people just got a weird problem that has got me rather annoyed (cant swear but you can guess what I really mean), my engine check light has come on whilst the car was at a standstill idling and wont go away there are no noises, rattles or bangs no smoke, steam or leaks and no loss of power and not overheating according to the gauge and I was wondering if anyone has suffered the same problem or knows how to cure it?

    cheers

Hi, may I suggest you get the car scanned, best to get it scanned with VCDS, commonly called vag-com then the fault codes it picks up should help point you in the direction to go.
