Hi I have what appears to be an exhaust blow more noticeable in lower gears or higher rpm in higher gears. Does the dpf run from the turbo all the way to the mid part of the car or does it release at the Flexi section. Mines stainless at the back so can only assume it's blowing from the dpf area

The DPF is a single part from the turbo exit down to the mid-section joint.

Still not fixed this as it's been to cold but I must this week so will update you. Is it hard to get the dpf/exhaust out from underneath?

Got it all out and found no evidence of a leak.... Good to know how it comes apart and for peace of mind but also frustrating it wasnt there. Hmmmm

A ball ache but now I've done it it would be a lot easier next time. It comes out from under the car through the centre tunnel.

Undo 3 sensors on top of the dpf. Unbolt from the turbo.
Underneath you have a bracket at the bottom of the dpf unbolt and remove bracket.
Undo the front from rear section. There is a bracket holding the downpipe to the sub frame unbolt that and then the bracket comes off with a bit of a push. Then slide the dpf down and tilt to the right. It'll slide out, a bit tight but comes.

I dropped the drive shaft down for a bit more space but don't think I needed to looking back.

After more examining today. I may have a busy spring on the drivers front as I can move the spring slightly and it just doesn't look seated right . Also when spinning the driver wheel it's very notchy and noisey. Almost like a light grinding, not so much in a bearing rumble way so think I may have a either a broken CV joint or damaged the flange part that enters the gear box. No idea how to tell which one sadly ... Any ideas.

Although it does worsen when you steer, would it still make the noise in a straight line?
