I'd love to get stuff like this done as I loved the sub in my company car (factory) and as mines 8 years old the sound isn't great...

As soon as I plan something I end up just cleaning in the car instead...

Haha. Just need to do it straight after you’ve cleaned it! Did mine yesterday so it’s pretty clean now, hoping to make a start this afternoon with these bits.

I have seen a nice sub box that fits into the left side of the boot, it’s more than I’d like to spend but keeps most of the boot usable so might be worth a go.

Not this is it? - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEO...h=item239a813fa2:g:xe4AAOSwYDZajHDi:rk:1:pf:0

I looked at it for a while as it keeps space... Just wondering how long before it shakes the whole of the brake light assembly off it's rockers lol

Yeah thats the one, I would probably add some vibration deadening to the light cluster and surrounding area to limit the effect, seem similar before and never head of anyone having an issue. *crosses finger* lol

Managed to get the DAB aerial, microphone and RCA cables installed, took a few photos, all I can say is thank goodness for my forceps.

For the microphone I had to feed a pathfinder through first and then tape the jack plug to it as the cable for the microphone was not stiff enough to push through the gap (no giggling please)

RCA cables down the drivers side, it has become quite dark so it was a bit of a pain.

But made it all the way to the boot

Mudguards and mirror glass arrived today, had a few minutes so got them all fitted and quickly sprayed the calipers and discs... it was too dark to get photos of the mudguards but they were really easy to fit and look good.

I’ll do a better job of them when I get more time but they look better than they did.

I’ll also get some pics of the mudguards tomorrow.

They look good, what tools did you need to fit? Wheels off I assume...

Everything is tip top apart from your ability to blank out a reg plate without using spray paint lol

Haha! Must try harder with the number plate blanking... the exhaust tips could do with a clean as well to be fair...

Torx head size 25 and thats it... really easy to fit.

Fronts can be done with just turning the wheels, i took mine off to spray the calipers.

But basically remove 2 of the arch lining screws and put mudguard, refit screws and add two more self tapper... i left these out as its firm enough.

The rears the wheels need to come off but basically the same, remove 3 screws put mudguard in screw back into place. It took 45 mins including the calipers.

I’m going to be getting the ARB in Jan and I’ll probably fit them at the same time so I’ll wait on getting them on for now.

Front and rear ARBs ordered from DPM. May be able to get them fitted before the meet, not that it really matters as you can’t see them. They will spell the end of the handling upgrades for now, try and save the pennies for the turbo upgrades and remap now.

Very nice, be interested to hear how much difference the Rear ARB makes I get a lot of mixed messages on that upgrade.

Yeah, from what I’ve been told just doing the rear can give quite an oversteery car which might not be ideal, going for both I can play around with the adjustment to get the balance I want. Might have a play about on some track days to test it properly.

Messing around with interior LEDs looks a bit seedy.... but I quite like it.

how does the red light compare to yellow or white lights inside?

It’s terrible... no good for seeing anything in the cabin, you can’t read under it. To be honest I’m tempted to go back to white.

hahaha thats what i figured. i had a red light bulb for the lamp in my bedroom for all of 15 minutes, then i switched back to a warm yellow light.
i actually need to replace my interior bulb light soon and im currently trying to decide between a bright white light and a warm yellow light. i might go for warmth so i dont burn my retinas out on a dark night...

I actually have blue interior lights on my Cupra. But fitted white LED to the vanity in case I ever needed to see. But I fitted white interior to Sealion2 and they look amazing (especially at night and even if I say so myself). Tempted to swap out the blue for white.
