Hey everyone,

Just brought myself a 2010 Leon Cupra R which has the nav system.

Now below the headunit there is a USB and Aux port, when I connect my iPhone via USB lead the unit doesn't pick it up and therefore I can't play music through it.

Anyone know if it works with iPhones? I'm currently using iPhone 6.

Thanks

You need a cable with a USB and a headphone jack on one end to connect the iphone

My 59 plate has bluetooth for the phone, but doesn't let me stream music from the phone which is a bit of a pain

Ah ok, cheers for that! Mine does stream via Bluetooth and sound is a lot quieter and poor quality. Just have to find a cable of eBay then!

there is a setting to play about with the Bluetooth volume you can increase it there. also i dont think the iPhone can be directly plugged in; it didn't work with me. if you do use a USB it needs to be a USB 3.0 from what i experienced. i tend to find Bluetooth most useful. auto connects as well.
