Hi All,
Please help me with this info.
I am about to buy an used 2012 Alhambra from Seat Dealer which has done 39500 miles. so does it need a cam belt and water pump change? The dealer said they did a servicing recently shouldnt it be done normally as its 5years old?
Please help.

It is safer to change a cam belt on age rather than mileage and whilst your mileage is very low I would be tempted to change the cam belt for peace of mind. Cheaper to change the belt/water pump than cost of engine rebuild. Fairly easy job to do.
