    Found this on vortex earlier..
    interesting seeing the 20v head being tested on bench, through rpm range.

    they suggest followers float at 7500rpm.. on stock valvetrain. In my experience of 7800rpm limit I run on std heads, ,not having seen any adverse side effect, its an interesting engineering test to see for sure.

    interesting bench test....

    It does'nt account for the effect of pressures on cold and particularly hotside however, as this is going to be very dependant on specification..

    would a built head be one with uprated valves and springs retainers or is there more things that need replacing?

    thats a level of built head yes...
    hydraulic followers, and solid lifters if the rev requirements dictate you need them.
