Not sure if you will get the 4 pots under 16" wheels.
The normal 312 single pot caliper is really close to rubbing on 16" wheels - I guess you might need to go 17" wheels first.

I would see if you can find someone with 4 pots and see if you can get your wheels over them.

Well I guess I could get some new wheels..... If I have to ;) I'll just tell the other half it's to do with the brakes . Looking at new wheels since I saw the car they look too small but can't decide what would look good

ATTENTION!!

You don't need Mk1 S3 or TT calipers to fit 312 mm disc anymore.
2013 Polo GTI's and Audi A1's have 312 mm disc.
You can buy a 2013 GTI caliper carrier and use your 2011 ibiza cupra/boc caliper on 312 mm disc.

Have they not just fitted the S3/TT 312mm brake kit rather than create new parts.

Wonder if anyone has a part number comparison to check what parts they have done the conversion with.

So what the script with these setups ? What size is standard on my 2.0 tdi FR ? And is it a full setup I need ?

Your FR has the 288mm setup on it.

I bought a full matched set of 312mm calipers/carriers/springs/discs along with the brembo HP2000 pads.

I wasn't willing to risk the missmatch of components when it comes to the brakes.

I have made the 312mm brake upgrade on my Polo BlueGT.

Parts you'll need:

- Caliper carriers from Audi A1 (8X0615125A) these are unpainted. You can get also red (Polo GTI) or blue (Polo R WRC) carriers
- use the stock "Golf V" brake caliper
- brake pads from Golf V or Audi A3 8P will fit, I bought EBC RedStuff DP31517C
- 312 mm brake discs from Golf IV 25th Anniversary or Audi TT 8N (e.g. EBC BSD930)
- perhaps the OEM 10mm longer brake hoses, I changed to longer HEL braided hoses

Pictures are in here: www . vagarena . fi/index.php?topic=15217.msg458760#msg458760
It's in Finnish but pictures say more than thousand words :D

Anyone got the part number for the required hubs for those of us who are stuck with the 256mm FSIII brakes?

I'm so used to upgraded 312mm brakes from my previous car (lines, fluid, HP+pads, solid bushings) that I feel like I'm going to end against a wall on my new FR (1.2TSI)

Hi, what setup does the ibiza cupra/boc have? Is the same as the 288mm on my FR 2.0 CR? If so am I right in saying from above the only items I need are carriers and discs from a 2013 gti?

If your TDi ones have FSIII cast in to the outside of the caliper then they will not fit.

If they LOOK the same as the ones on your 1.6TDi ( spring on the outside ) then they will fit.
