Hi All

I have an unusual problem with Bluetooth on my Mk3 FR car stereo, in that it’s started to skip or restart tracks randomly, mostly first thing in the morning (I say Bluetooth, but I haven’t had any similar problems with music apps on any other Bluetooth connected device).

The problem seems to have occurred over winter, and seems to skip or restart tracks a few times when I first start the car up, mostly first thing in the morning. At times, it also seems to skip over to the car stereo settings menu, and other times I’ve found the part of the touchscreen used to play/pause the track unresponsive, so I suspect the screen is the likely issue. I’m also wondering if temperature is a possible factor?

Has anybody else seen anything like this before, or can anybody suggest any options for fixing?

Thanks.

Yeah I have a 15 plate FR Tech and when it’s in that mood it changes radio stations if I’m on DAB, always rings my brother if set to Phone. I tried to figure it out and it felt like it was to do with having the rear wiper on when really cold
