Between an egg cup and half a cup , this time it seems to be right between the clutch and brake pedals.

1. Scrap it , man up take the hit and be done with it - but I need money to replace it
2. Try and sell it but for how much - but I still need money to replace it
3. Accept that will always leak, just leave the carpets out
4. Persevere throw money at it in the hope that I might get lucky

what would YOU do, sensible and practical answers will be entertained.
I've a leak in my Ibiza when it rains heavy I've a damp patch Right in the middle below the pedal of the front driver side footwell Dry everywhere else tho but wet in the middle just can't see any drips as looks like its coming in from behind the carpet it's bound to be coming from Under the scutter pannel somewhere are bulkhead any ideas

Just been through this with the cupra and after many hours of resealing the usual causes found the leak was directly under the bonnet hinge. An unsealed joint. Water got in there and ran through various seams to exit over the pedals and the sound deadening on the bulkhead. As I say it was difficult to find and see as it's just 25 mm under the hinge. Sealed that and now fine.

I've just noticed I Parked my car facing up the hill with the rain last night an seen this morning there's a small puddle of water in the boot also have you had that before? The front footwell was dry this time an its usally its always wet water must of traveled a different way due to the way the car was parked

I havnt currently got a leak in the boot but I know there has been one previously ! Certainly the front bulkhead leak will be affected by the angle the car is at.
I will expect the boot leak to reappear !

So I found the the following holes on the left (drivers side), they dont look like much in the photo but with all the gunk removed you could get a pipe cleaner through them.

Then found this on the right side , it was rotten and falling apart

Yes and directly above the area in your first photo and right under the hinge is another dodgy area. Dig out any old sealant and redo.

The high up leak distributes water through various seams and exits some way to either side.

When I use my rear washer it causes a leak under the drivers footwell As There's a few breaks in the plastic pipe but I'm getting it 're piped But I've noticed when it rains heavy it forms a damp patch right in the middle of the footwell

That picture is due to the rain tho I can't see any leaks just appears as damp patch so it's probably under the scuttle pannel somewhere leaking in under the carpet
