Adding heated seat to Cupra?

I've done the obligatory search, and have found people asking the same question I'm about to, but never really found a definative answer!

I've got a Leon Cupra with leather interior which I love, but the missus fell in love with heated seats in a Passat.
She's been going on about these for months and to keep her happy, I was wondering if anyone has successfully added heating elements to a leather interior that never had the winter pack?

I'd really not like to have to put one of those manky heated car seat covers on!

Hi mate. Might be worth having a word with Scotty_b or Flapper as they were looking into this - but it seems an easier task to swap the seats over with ones already fitted, perhaps from a golf or whatever, and then adjust the wiring from there.

Recon it might be a bit of a job to put the elements into the seats :S

You could be right! The more I loom into it, the less viable it seems. If I had cloth seats, I'd be into the guts of them to add elements in a shot, but not so keen to do it with the leather!
