Hi all, I'm new to the site and after just buying my wife a new volvo I'm allowed to treat myself to a new car! :),
I currently drive a 58 plate passat sport and I'm wanting a new toledo, I want a petrol I know that much but I need a bit of advice on trim levels and what each trim has got ie s se itech and so on I want to spend about 13k. I saw an itech at a local seat dealer a few months ago and at the time they had a deal on them and it was sat around the mark that I want to pay but I'm worrying now that I want be able to find one of that spec for that price, so sorry for rambling on but if you could give me a pointer on what to aim for I'd appreciate that. I'm going to spend tomorrow hunting :) cheers guys

Range was E , S, SX(taxi), SE, SE Nav, I-tech

Pre reg I tech 1.2TSi is the biggest bargain if there are any left. All the kit and cheap.

Folowed by 1.2 SE Nav - nealy as loaded but lacks the fancier interior.

1.4TSi DSG SE would be a bargain too if any about.

New range I think goes SE, Style, Style Advanced.

New models with Euro 6 Engines are well expensive in comparison.

You're in luck there are still I-tech and SE Nav new out there in your price range - but very few of them - hurry.

2 more i-techs in different colours

changing the search finds used I-techs from 11.5k

and one beautiful low-miles 1.4DSG at 11k

It's a lovely motor - quick for a 1.2, lots of kit, roomy (for 4 - its narrow) huge boot. mpg about 42-45 (maybe 50+ if you're really gentle.)

My Perfect one would be an I-tech (love the inside) with the 17 inch wheels off of my SE or some 18's TBH, and a slight suspension drop (Eibach -30 or H&R -35 springs) and a REVO map :)

regarding standard kit

the SE NAV has 16 alloys, Climatronic, Park, Traction control Seat Media 2.2 (VW RNS315), cornering fogs, MFSW, start-stop, TPMS, blutooth, voice dialling,

rarely optioned up with auto lights/wipers, winter pack (heated seats headlamp wash), hill hold etc.

the I-Tech has all the standard stuff, plus darker coloured 16 alloys, much nicer alcantara interior, auto lights and wipers.

Just ordered a 65 plate style advanced in white :) I'm so excited cannot wait to pick her up! Does anyone know if they're is a boot lip spoiler available or one that can be made to fit as I think it'd finish the back end of nicely? Arghhhhhhh can't wait!

I think the boot lid has the same top edge as the Rapid Hatchback/Limousin (not the Spaceback).

So the little lip spoiler off the Rapid Sport would be very a subtle addition.

A variety of other spoilers (and some very nice little side skirts) are at Superskoda.com

It's just the standard style advanced spec so 6.5 inch satnav, Bluetooth, stop/start technology, front and rear parking sensors, 17" alloys, cruise control and it's got the leather alcantara interior which I think looks great. The only thing i specced was the reversing camera kit just because i like gadgets. Managed to get it well under list price with a bit of bartering and playing dealers off against each other.
