Badger5 is now supplying AEM Water/Methanol injection here in the UK.

Prices £330 +vat for new boost map sensor controller stage 2 kit
stage 2 kit includes 1 Gallen tank
    Float Switch Level sensor
    MAP/Boost Stage 2 controller
    check valve
    3 x nozzles
    hose
high pressure pump (smooth, not pulsing)
Controller features a very handy "test" mode, and has in-buily std boost control output to use to drop boost pressure when water level is low

Yes, are the stage 2 kits you are bringing in Stage 2 Boost Cooler™ (MAP controlled) or Stage 2 MAF Boost Cooler™ ?

    Intersting

Always been interested in a water injection system to control knocking! Where do you get methanol from though?

Yeah, when you think the difference between 95 and 99 RON makes, putting water injection in to increase the effective RON by another couple of, err, RONs could make quite a bit of difference.

IIRC You don't HAVE to run Methanol to let you advance the timing, but I remember a discussion about buying barrels of the stuff rather than screenwash/model shops (which has some oil in it IIRC).

You'd also be looking for a Toledo washer bottle - apparently they're a fair bit larger than the Leon one (I think that was from Songman).

Very good forum for general Water Injection stuff somewhere. Edit: http://www.waterinjection.info/

From the looks of it this kit comes with it's own water bottle!? Unless I'm mistaken!

How quickly could you get the fitting to mount the nozzle into a silicon, Bill? I saw it on their website yesterday, but I can't seem to find it this morning

    its here.. and looks good.
not had time to fit my own yet.. stock one sold already.

    Somethings I've learnt already...
Snow Performance will ship MAF based units as stage 2 for 1.8t as the norm, for k0x turbo'd cars... reasoning by them being better control can be achieved (easier to tune) on a very fast spooling small turbo from MAF signal as opposed MAP.

Mine is MAP based and uprated pump/solenoid etc as I run >2bar boost etc

So... what this means is we need to choose stage 2 (type) of controller when ordering them in.. to suit the turbo application. BT would be MAP based controller, smaller turbo's would be MAF

    regards
    bill
