.... It was time to change. My yellow Freetrack has been traded in for a newer, more economical car.

Two sets of tyres, two cam belt changes, two gearbox & Haldex services, two strut top bearings, and a full SEAT service history. I looked after the thing, and it rewarded me by getting me and my passengers out of some slippery winter conditions with only one or two gremlins in the electrics and mechanicals.

I've started selling some bits and pieces on eBay, starting with a SEAT Freetrack radio surround to fit the RCD310 and similar. Few more things to follow.

So what do I have now? Suzuki Vitara Allgrip. I've had SEAT for 20 years, but there's nothing in the recent range that fits price and practicality. If the Freetrack range had been further developed, I might be looking for a two-year-old example now.

Goodbye SEAT, I might be back for an Ateca when used prices come down to my budget level in a few years.
