subtle is the way in my book. Personally I'd just stick with the Plat Grey and keep it all nice and clean

But, If you want a hand with some designs, then give me a shout

You could do something tone-on-tone, which looks good in the right colour...

If you do go the Matt Black route, its a nightmare to get it even aparently. If you do go that route, I know the guys down at Arena (Littlehampton) who ran Tom Chilton's (defected to VX btw) Matt Black Honda in the BTCC who might be able to point you in the right direction.

There were some pictures of a two tone S3 in similar shde to that PS somewhere Pete. I must admit that I didn't like the sound of it, but I liked the way it looked.

I like the black/silver two tones Andy posted...

I still like the gunmetal idea  Although it'll make picking a wheel colour difficult.

Matt black will make it look "cheap" IMHO as it's not the newest car on the planet.

What about Platinum with a black roof? If you bring the Platinum higher up (like in those that Andy posted) and had a black top half, It'd visually lower the roof and help loose the windows...

Edit: Or just paint the fecker red...
