It's very common
problem. It's caused by wet carpets corroding the wiring because the door seals are or have been leaking.
The sensor is bolted to the floor under the drivers seat carpet. Try cleaning the connector first.
The sensors are hard to find second hand as you need the EXACT part number (including the Letters) or it won't be matched to the controller
