Airbag Fault?!

is the following fault serious:

01578 - Airbag Deactivation Warning Lamp; Passenger Side (K145)
009 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent - MIL ON

i picked up the fault yesterday morning.

does that mean my passenger side airbag doesn't work?

my friend this fault means that you disconnected the lamp that it is front of the gearbox, near the emergency lights,
you have to clear the DTC error, because this time airbags are not working on your car!!!!
if you clear the error and it not become again, you are ok! if you see again the same error, try to find the problem of the airbag passenger indicator!

huh?..i didn't disconnect any lamp thats in front of the gearbox

I think he means the passenger airbag warning light in front of the gearstick has a problem like disconnected.
Well thats how I understand it anyway
