airfilter problem

hi there

ive got a Leon Cupra T
bought a new airfilter for it from pipercross and ive been having nothing but problems.
it doesnt always idol right keeps dipping down to 500 rpm and i sone times have a problem acceleration when below 2000 revs, have spoke to pipercross and hey said to unhook the battery and leave for 30 mins to reset the MAF, have done this twice so far and the problem goes away for anwhile and then comes back, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows of a beter fix???

unclip the maf, drive the car and see if it drives right?

dont drive too far though, if it feels okay reclip the maf and drive again, if it doesnt feel right you have a knackered maf mate, not uncommon......

I read on here some where that after fitting a new air filter that you need to leave the car ticking over for a few mins after fitting to let the maff register the new air mixture before driving/revving the car, this is what i did and had no problems
