Hi, sure its been asked before but I couldn't find it. How do I deactivate the alarm on my Seat Ibiza FR 1.8T on an 05 plate so I can work on it. It keeps self arming itself. I looked in the handbook and I can only deactivate the interior sensors but I will have the bonnet up so I presume it will set itself off as it will have a bonnet open sensor? It started misfiring on the way home today so need to have a look round and see what it causing it and plug in the vagcom to see if it knows?? Felt like it was running on 2 or 3 cylinders and the engine check light was coming on and going off as well. Dead coil packs??
