alarm help

My alarm keeps going off nearly every time i lock the car. After a visit to IMG (cheers) i have the fault code:

01463 035
Alarm triggered by sensor for anti-theft alarm system
sporadic

any ideas

Yes internal monitoring sensor.
Near the rear view mirror IIRC
Not that expensive I dont think.

I have a Mk 3 and the alarm sensor is located just behind the pasengers head. Will it be this one?

Does anyone have a part code for this?

Hi Colin
I have had a check and it seems that there are a few to choose form
You will need to take your service book and go to see a dealer.
There is one on the interior light and 1 on its own.
I am sorry but it is different to the ones I am used to.
But the dealer should be able to sort this out for you.
I do not even have prices on my ETKA.
But if you go to a Seat dealer with your service book this has the PR codes required and they can manage it alot easier with the chassis number.
