Alarm issues

The alarm has started going off all the time for no reason

Ive had a search and they all say about it being a door module but the doors all seem to be fine. The car locks ok hazards flash to arm the system but after about 15 seconds the alarm just goes off. Once reset it stops but same happens again after 15secs.

I read that removing fuse 17 stops the alarm going off but not the hazards flashing if its a module. Ive done this and the hazards arnt flashing either.

Does this point to a faulty siren unit?

No point trying to guess. Get a diagnostics scan done and it should indicate what sensor is causing the alarm to trigger.

Just an idea in the interim if you dont have diags, lock with a double press (to disable the internal sensors) and if it still goes off you know its the opening sensors, if it doesnt go off, you know its the internal sensors.
