Thought I would start a new thread with some VCDS (VAGCOM) modifications as there is not much information out there. Please share any new mods and I will update this first post with any new ones!
(n.b. this is a copy of a thread from seat-forum.com as I wasnt able to post external links)

Wanted mods:
Stop beeping when electric sliding side doors open/close
Change sensitivity of release of the auto-hold function of parking brake

** Fold wing mirrors in when holding down lock button on key fob (open when ignition next turns on)
(dealer told me this was not possible!!)
42-Door Elect, Driver
Coding --> Long Coding
Byte 4 --> Bit 6 Comfort Mirror Folding active TICKED

** Stop beeping of boot lid when closing (electric boot only)
6D - Trunk Elect.
Coding --> Long Coding
Byte 1 --> Bit 5 (Tone Generator Installed) UNTICKED

** Remember last heat setting of drivers electric seat
08 - Auto HVAC
Adaptation --> Retenion of drivers seat heater level

Automatically turn on Parking assistant

Hi everybody,

any way/idea how to automatically turn on parking assistant when slowing down the car? Right now, it only turns on automatically when I shift the "R", however, when I park into e.g. garage, I have to turn it on manually which is annoying . Any idea?

You can't.

It either turns on via the switch or takes its signal feed from the reverse live.

I have one more question - is it possible to set the f... Start/stop system off by default? It drives me crazy ...
