Hi guys i have a 2002 1.9pd tdi 115bhp, and have had it mapped ect. long story short its eats dmfs (mainly my driving) so have gone and bort a smf kit, but today being told not to fit it to the 6 speed due to the fact it will just shatter the box the peices, engine code is the auy can anyone back this info up before i go fitting it without first buying a 5 speed box.

I was going to chip my 140bhp but was advised to change the clutch from a dmf to a standard one before even thinking about chipping it.

Just for referance for other people, I changed its to a smf a day after took the plunge and my gear box is grinding from the diff. Could be age but was silent untill the change in
