hi, had this vehicle for 8mths now and never had any probs with it , till on way home tonight
the oil light came on and it started beeping at me and engine died on me never to start again , checked oil as you do but has plenty in it. a friend suggested mebbes timing belt has broke but on turning over i would say still sounds like there is loads of compression

can anyone point me in right direction ??

So, it's either a 90bhp AHU engine or a 110bhp AFN engine.

That means it's an older engine with a rotary fuel pump injection system rather than a pd engine. In that case it's fairly easy to check the timing belt (which is rather suspect I'm afraid).

How much do you know about engines?
