Alloy choice? Yay or Nay?

Hi guys,

Im considering alloys similar style to Dotz Roadsters (Black face, chrome lip ((Sorry, dont know how to post a pic)). I have a prefacelift silver MK4 but im unsure if they would look OTT or not.

I like the style but dont know whether to stick with just the black minus the chrome lip?....Choices, choices!!

Any opinions?

quick search but not a black face but gunmetal. think that may look better than black on a silver.

there is a photoshop section...post a pick of this wheel plus side on of your car and someone will do a chop for you.

also use insert image on the post screen. then from the properties of the image paste it into the box

As mentioned I like the spoke style but Im unsure of the chrome lip!

yeah not a big fan of the lip myself but thats my opinion only.

Worth a post up in the photoshop section with your car.

Saw one post from a guy and the wheel looked amazing but when chopped onto his leon it looked terrible. which was a shame but saved him some cash!!

I had a look at these when I was looking for alloys for my Ibiza. I happened to see them in halfords and they didn't look so good in the flesh. The spokes looked unfinished and rough....i'm not sure what finish they use on them but it looked like charcoal!

They look quite good on that golf, although they look like they're 19". The 17" ones that I saw looked too small...I think that's mainly to do with the design i.e the spokes not reaching to the edge of the rim

Yeah I was thinkin that to fill a golf arch they need to be 18/19".
True that if scaled down to 17" the spokes would be shorter and wouldnt look as good.

I might keep an eye out but if anyone has alloys similar to these or even Black alloys on a silver bezza, Id much apprecitate having a quick look!

I reckon those would look really nice on an Ibiza. But I think they're the BBS alloys off an MK4 anniversary golf...which would be 18 or 19"?

They were previously fitted to a mk3 Golf.
(5x100/114 et38)

As long as there 17's I imagine that they should fit the Bezza?!
