Depends on how its done. I've seen quote for as little as £25 per wheel. The £45 job is probably a proper strip down repair then powder coat. Well you'd hope anyway for that price.

The cheaper ones usually just use pain and sand the damaged area down.

Have seen some work from this place but not actually used them.

They are in Bamber Bridge near Preston

Wheels only price is if you take wheels in without tyres.

Wheels with tyres = drop wheels & tyres off & collect same after coating

Workshop Service = drop car off and collect car next day with wheels coated.

Golf that was leaving when I popped in for a price had just been done and have to admit the wheels were spotless and a very good job.

I have standard alloys on my Red K1, is there a good company anyone knows to get them coated black gloss like the factory fit option. My car didnt have them but the more i see them the better they look.

Most alloy refurb companies will do the wheels in any colour you like when you have them done.

Standard colours will be included in the price - anything strange on the colour front will probably cost extra to the normal price.

I've seen good reports on them too - you can drop the car in the morning and they'll do them same day. Does mean spending the day in Widnes though!

Been reading through the National Alloys site and it looks like they are only offering to PAINT the wheels rather than POWDER COAT them.

Could be why they are much cheaper.

Anyone confirm Paint or Powder Coat from these guys ??

I've had a bike frame & a set of Compomotive MO's done at the wheel repair centre at Bamber Bridge but i'm going elsewhere this time.

I know powdercoat is quite thick but the amount of time I had to spend shaving bits of powdercoat off to get the frame back together was a joke, I had the same issue when it came to refitting the alloys, a mate of mine got his wheels done at Burnley bead blasters and they came out great.

think you have to take just the wheels to burnley bead blasting, my mate had his done there to.

Well i ended up going to TWS in Manchester. I rang National Alloys and they couldnt do them till october plus they dont balance the wheels when they put the tyres back on. Got 15% off at TWS so it ended up costing £260. Bit pricey but they did a mint job and could fit me in straight away. All i need now are some new centre caps, mine look a bit tatty.
