If you've got 312mm fronts then upgrade to 345 brembos off a Golf R32 or A3 Sline.
They come up on ebay now and again. Painted skyblue will clash with your red though :)

the mk2 Cupra ones from Davis at 580 all in... they are 345mm also.

Cheers Mate. Going to go for the grill when i get back off my jollies. Then hopefully the spolier and so on.

Taking my Altea on its first test to the Lakes tomorrow. Lets see if it gets me through the thunderstorm that is due. I know its no offroad car but its got to be better than the Cupra R.

As we talked about the original spoiler of cause it is the best looking.

Now my problem is what to do next, only needs new speakers and the shark antenna from a Touran it is the only one that is active and working.
Maybe a parking camera, could be an idea.

So i will soon be totaly finished with all upgrades in my mind.
Any ideas about what missing at my car ?

Have some of you done somthing recently, and what is at your wish list ??

Last mod was the Oil Catch tank. have MK5 GTI Rear brakes to put on the car as well as an EGR power Pipe. other mods...

SatNav upgrade, more likely something from http://www.esg1.co.uk/seat/

Eibach Pro Dampers - have the Pro Springs already.

Twin Duplex Exhaust. - Remus or Supersport back box with dual twin pipes.

6000k HIDs.

problem is lack of money :)

Chaps, How you doing? Looks like SP.DK isnt wasting anytime.

Ive just got back of my jollies. Totally fell in love with my Altea FR, it is just superb for what I need. Great Space and it handled very well fully loaded. Was great off road and I didnt have to abandon it once.

Unfortunately one problem i found with it was the 12v sockets. Neither of them are live meaning when i removed the keys i lost power. My previous Seats, LCR and Ibiza FR didnt do this so I presumed the Altea FR would be ok. I know I should have checked but hey ho.

So not sure if you can call it a mod but car is in this week to get this problem rectified has I was unable to charge my IPOD, Phone, Camera, GPS tracker etc.

Seat was a bit funny about changing the 12v sockets to permanant live, they seemed to scratch their heads stating they'd NEVER done it before. Quoted a price of £180 too !! Ive ended up booking it into a local car electric specialist place who are doing it for £70.

Anyway enough of me waffling on !!!! Get your pics on ASAP SP.DK

Toxic sounds good with satnav but if i were you, i would go for a Pioneer, i have had both the one you are linking to and the Seat rns 510 and when i changed to Pioneer it was like getting a hole new car, i know the prices are higher but it is absolutly worth it.
I know the Pioneer as i have i on sale at the moment.

Logan i understand your problem with the 12w socket, have been thinking about it my self, good idea to get it fixed.
And yes i will post pics as soon the spoiler is painted

Lets keep updated

Guys what you think about putting the Black Orion wheels onto my Red Altea?

Have seen loads of Red Leons with Black wheels and think they are ok.

Would it make it more common or less?
