can anyone tell me the bolt pattern for a space saver wheel for the Altea Sport TDi?
is it 5 x 100 or something else? is it the same as VW golfs?

I am looking a space saver wheel "just in case"
My first post - please treat me gently.

Cheers Plodder1

Hi plodder1,

there's an optional 16'" space saver ... at least over in Germany (that's where the Euros coming from :whistle: )

1)
1K0.601.011 = complete space saver with diagonal tyre 18"wheel (182,00 Euro) ... fitting toolkit 8P0.012.109.E (8,40 Euro)

2)
1K0.601.011.B = complete space saver with diagonal tyre 16"wheel = (142,50 Euro) ... fitting toolkit 1K0.012.115.F (as well as E) (both 12,10 Euro each)

Hope that helps a litlle
Klaus

Does the Altea have run flats if a spare is an optional extra?

No, you get a compressor and some tyre weld stuff I think but for me it is a no brainer to spend and extra £30 and get a spare instead. Why SEAT should adopt this approach is beyond me.

You can specify a space saver or a full size steel for the same price. I went for the spacesaver because you loose about 30 litres of boot space due to a bulge in the boot floor with the full size spare so take your pick.
