AMK/BAM injectors

Just bought a set of BAM injectors to have them re-conned (det' issue and it feels like it's pulling a bit of timing occasionally) then I'm going to pop them in my AMK. The fella I bought them from seemed to think I might need to put a spacer washer behind the rail to stand them off a bit, reconsr they might be a bit longer? Is that a thing or another BAM myth to add to the half million other BAM myths? Cheers guys

I've not heard of any differences before, although i don't know for sure. Best thing to do is look here, you should be able to look up both and see if there are any differences. http://www.oemepc.com/seat/
