The discs are from a Focus WRC car 370mm so only available from Brembo motorsport, the calipers are Ferrari F40.

yeh IS38.

for a long time 400 was the max with the turbo but seen a few european tuners break 400 and then APR started breaking it as well with a few Golf R so was hoping to break it myself (expected around 405) so really pleased.

:funk: These tfsi's have come along way now compared to the 1.8T's

Those numbers are Big turbo territory in my world, i bet your pleased, put the power down too?

Yeh it drives like a stock car tbh if not even a little better due to the DSG mapping.

Once you learn how to drive it its fine, but lets be honest there are loads of 280 owners struggling with stock power.

Not sure about the 280 owners as i own a 1.8t ibiza running about 307bhp but power to weight ratio is amazing lol. LSD worth getting?

Looking at getting a mk3 leon as a daily soon as i think they are awesome family cars with enough power in stock form.

Car is getting close to 3 years old. I only really keep cars for around 2 years before wanting something new. But this one I have decided to keep past the 3 year mark!

Because of that I need to get it MOT'd soon and also its due an oil service so planning to add the following to it in the next week:

  • Genuine oil filter
  • Genuine sump bolt
  • Millers Nanodrive oil
  • 034 Motorsport dogbone mount
  • MOT
  • NGK cooler spark plugs

Will probably replace the coilpacks soon as well for the newest revision K ones.

Started the boring jobs today as oil hasn't turned up yet, popped down to TPS and picked up some goodies:

Hopefully oil will turn up later today or tomorrow so I can do the oil change as well.

Once the oil was out and new sump plug refitted it was time to do oil filter, easy if you have the right tools (usually I attempt something then realise I need a tool, this time I was ready)

Took approx 30 mins and most of that was waiting for the oil to drain! First time I have serviced a car with an oil filter like that, Previous ones have been the old style ones. Need to do my MK2 Golf now and Motorbike.

I take it you didn't get this sold, I looked at it a few times when it was up. Glad you are still enjoying it

Yeh had a fair few silly offers, I then borrowed an Ateca 190 TDI for a week which is what I was looking at replacing it with, My MK2 Golf TDI was going to become my "project car" but decided to keep the MK2 Golf as a daily (even though it's always breaking down) and use this as a weekend car.

190 Ateca was lovely but just lacked in power and I didn't want to go to the expense of Stage 2 DPF delete and then trading it in after 2 years, decided pay this off and keep it for another 2 years or so.

Was passing TPS today so decided to pop in and purchase some new plugs for her, Audi RS7 ones to be exact which are a stage cooler than stock Cupra plugs.

4x new Audi RS7 plugs

Good decision if you ask me. These MK3 Cupra's are hard to beat, both as a daily and as a track car. [B)]
