Does any body else find the Spanish lady behind the dashboard describing the road number to follow as a full number annoying?
For example A1234 as " one thousand two hundred and thirty four" instead of the "A one two three four" as most people express it!
At least the satnav shows the altitude in feet now instead of yards that my old 63 plate car did in the imperial setting. Who ever described altitude in yards. Can you imagine the pilot on a plane announcing to the passengers that we would flying at a height of 3,333 yards instead of 10,000 feet!

Could be worse, had a 'British' Sat Nav, brought to Spain.

It made a big whoopsie trying to pronounce 'Airport' in Spanish.

Aeropuerto/Aeropuerta, but it pronouced it to something a little bit more derogatory.

The list of strange descriptions of places and routes grows.
This week we've Milton Key ness! Previously Bury Street Edmonds and she always refers to the Nor-reth!
We've also found that the routes chosen are suspect when we have local knowledge and know the suggested route makes no sense.

Mine pronounces Manchester as Man cheese ter.

But on the signs further on to my commute where it says M’chester it sounds a lot closer.
