Another Noob

Hi

Noob here. Coming from the world of beemers. Can't stomach the fuel bills associated with an auto V8 petrol any more! Or the lack of fun on B roads

So I've been looking for an LCR. Black. Not bothered about 210 or 225.

I've spoken to a few people selling cars bust most need cambelts etc in the price range I'm looking at.

I've found what seems to be a nice one here:

RX03 EYK

Black 2003 210 model on pistonheads for 3500

Located north if Derby and previously belonged to an RAF fella or similar.

I was wondering if anybody on here knows of this car?

It all seems ok after speaking to the owner, but I've got a long way to travel so want to make sure. It has full history and proof of the cambelt and clutch.

I have pretty much agreed to buy the car as long as it meets the owners description, but then did a reg check and found its had 6 owners.

Would this put you off? Seems in good condition. History is there. Owner clearly an enthusiast. Even still has 3 keys!

Anyone know the car, and anybody got any advice for a newbie to the world of LCRs?

Thanks mate. Already enjoying it. Had fun on the way home and still got 34 mpg! That's like free beer when you've been running a 5 series V8 for a couple of years - ANY fun at all and you may as well just give Mr Esso your bank details

The LCR also makes my Beemer feel VERY slow to be honest
