So this weekend my Toledo V5 started to run hot. Checked the antifreeze tank and noticed it was almost dry. Filled it up with water (the only thing I had) and it got me back home. Checked the day after again and it had almost run dry again. Yesterday evening I got some proper antifreeze and filled up a bottle. Drove for maybe an hours time and when I got back I checked it while it was still running (not the correct time, I know), just to see what was happening. The tank was then almost overflowing (!). I would have guessed it should have been the other way around?
Checked it again this morning and now it was back down to almost dry again (well below min).
However, the warning light has not come on once. Strange!
Any ideas on what this might me? After I filled it up with antifreeze yesterday I noticed the engine temp was acting a bit strange, keeping below the normal 90 and moving both up and down in that area for some time (15-20 minutes or so) before going back to the normal 90 and keeping steady.
