Great minds etc, I did put a leather conditioner on it. SEAT NZ are contacting Spain for a new wheel. Can't say i have, but first thing i'd try is putting some form of leather cream/moisturiser on it from a detailing company to see if it makes it any nicer? (Assuming it's leather?)
You couldn't post a pic, could you?I have the exact same marks on the bottom of my steering wheel. Just assumed it was the previous owner with a ring or sharp nail that has caught it. Cant see it normally so doesn't bother me.
Thanks. That definitely looks like scratching, mine is too regular and in the wrong place. There should be scratches at the quarter to three position.
I have OCD, and POMS (picky old man syndrome)It's leather. If you threw away every leather chair or jacket that picked up a single mark it's going to get real expensive real fast.
My 280 has had loads over time and they all just fade back and go smooth. If you go looking for them you can see small marks but most of the time its like the aren't there.I have OCD, and POMS (picky old man syndrome)
Actually, I'm not overly worried now, it's just concern that it may get worse and/or split.
