Arch rubbing problems

Just fitted 225/45/17 tyres to my fr and now rubbing on bumps and round corners I have taken out some of the arch where can see rubbing but still rubbing I'm thinking of changeing tyres to 215/35/17 any advice on what I could do cheers

The normal tyre size is 205/40/17 so I think your tyres a too big, it will also be throwing your speedo out
