Are my brake pads fitter right? Pics

Hello, had pads and discs fitted yday, and it looks to me as if the pads are fitted incorrectly, as they are not parrarell to the disc, can anyone confirm this?

Yep, the edge of the pad on my Leon are the same. The pads are cut like that at the edges and will be in full contact further in, you just can`t quite see because of the viewing angle. That is how oem ones are designed, not a fitting fault at all:D

ah right ok, i just couldnt figure out how the pads were not in contact completely, and not just the section closest to the hub. But im wrong, and the pads are going to work perfectly fine? just realised im on the mway tomorrow, so dont want to have a brake failure

No problem. Yours look just fine. The chamfer on them means that by looking at the pads you can gauge how much wear you have left in them by how much of the gap is left to the disc. When all the pad is in contact with the disc, it's time for new.;)
