Arosa cam belt

Hi all, Does anyone know how much to expect to have to pay to get a cam belt changed? I've been quoted £400 all in, is that good or can I get it done cheaper than this?

it can be alot cheaper, thats a ripped off i have 1.8t engine and i've been quote quote £320 for cambelt and water pump(metal impeller)

I bought a cam belt and water pump from Sere Motors. I paid £34 for the kit (belt and tensioner) and £23 for the water pump. Cost me £138 to get it fitted. Usually when you do the cambelt it's advisable to do the water pump at the same time.

seems very expensive shouldnt be more than 2.5 hours including blead and road test £50 ph = 125+ vat for labour hole job shouldnt be more than £250

just had mine done at Ted Johnson Barnsley for £230ish. Shop around, a different steeler quoted me £300
