Friend of mine is soon to five me his knackered 06 A3 1.9 TDI Sport 105 BHP. I have the exact same engine so plan to take the turbo as mines knackered. He's retro fitted S-Line seats to it so I'll be moving those over.
Just wondered if there anyone in the know that would know as to whether I can do a straight swap of the suspension? With it being the sport suspension it's a little lower than the Leon reference spec suspension.
I'm taking the boot struts out as mine are useless. Engine cover, mines missing.
Also not sure if the Audi has bigger disks and calipers but can check this in due course.
Has anyone got any ideas on other parts that could be taken from the donor? I'm thinking of taking a few parts as spares like injectors, glow plugs.
There's also talk of using the bonnet strut and spot welding a bracket onto the Leon.
