Auto Headlights retrofit

Hi all,

Im looking to install auto headlights on my Toledo i was wondering if there was any related thread, cant seem to find any viable guide..

No guides that I know off,
Best bet would be getting a cheap v5 Toledo and robbing all the required parts ,
Sensor , switch , wiring .
Whilst your at it have the double din dash which most v5’s have

Hi!

I saw a few videos on youtube and reading through the comment sections seems as if they just replaced the switch with a golf MK5 one, i dont know though there should be more parts involved i think

If you want to go fully retro fitted you would need the loom and screen sensor,
What you might have seen is the eBay kit which uses a mk5 look alike switch and a small sensor placed on the dash which does work , only thing being is the Toledo /leon headlight switch is quite small compared to the golf counter parts so will stick out abit and not sit flush

Yea probably this kit was used, it also had the function of position lights when unlocking the car with the remote, that was nice, might give this a try.
