firstly sorry if this is in the wrong place or been asked before.

I between doing an engine swop I got my M1 cupra a few months back and was running sweet and fully enjoyed it then the seals on my turbo seals went (bad times)
I was asking about for a turbo an a few said now would be a good time to maybe upgrade.
Any how I know abit (small bit) about cars an thought why not
So here i go
I came across a 2000 reg audi tt q, apx 225 with 60k on clock very very cheap (cheaper then a new turbo)
So I put the apx engine in with ecu, but noticed the engine loom plug is slighty different to the Auq loom plug so which option is easier an better ???
1. use the audi tt interior loom in the cupra
2. use a bam (cupra r) interior loom in the cupra ( was told it should fit)
3. cut an match wires to fit the apx engine ( if possible )
Any help & advice would be so grateful
